The HTC Hero — One Heck Of A Phone!

When you think about HTC what is the first thing that comes to mind? For me – it is all about the HTC Hero. This is a phone that I have been waiting for, for quite some time and it is a phone that I want … really, really, badly. Well, I actually have an update for you that involve the HTC Hero.

On April 16th, the HTC Hero is going to be upgraded with the brand new Android 2 OS! That is super exciting and I have to say that now …this is a phone that I am going to buy. The specs? Well, that is, a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera, HTC’s latest Sense UI, an accelerometer sensor, GPS, WiFi and supports HSDPA connectivity.

Sprint has this particular phone available for about $179.00 with a two year contract and a $100.00 mail-in rebate – all of which is awesome!

Samsung Galaxy S — Beautiful & Trendy!

The hot thing that seems to be leaping off of the charts for cell phones is the Android and recently, Samsung actually came out with the brand new Android 2.1 powered smartphone that is subbed Samsung Galaxy S. The Samsung Galaxy S is a phone for the technology guy – or girl as it is packed with everything you need!

For example, the Samsung Galaxy S features a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 1GHz application processor that enables vibrant 720p HD video playback, rich augmented reality content through Layar Reality Browser, and advanced LBS (Location Based Services). The Samsung GT-I9000 also has the “Social Hub” feature that provides always-on social networks connectivity.

The phone itself looks completely different too, as it certainly looks chic and different and I have to say that I love it!

Samsung Diva S7070 — Women’s Phone At Its Finest!

When it comes to women, we all know that we are picky. This is especially true when it comes to our phones and that is why Samsung actually developed a cell phone specifically for women. The brand new Samsung Diva S7070 is only in the UK right now but it is definitely a phone that I am going to invest in.

Not only does the Samsung Diva S7070 come in a beautiful color but there are a ton of different features that are awesome for women. For example: a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, TouchWiz UI, Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, social networking integration, a 3.5mm headset jack, and a 3.2MP Auto Focus camera with a “beauty shot” feature. The phone also features a diamond-shaped navigation key and a fashionable back cover.

You want a phone for a woman? Samsung really thought about it when they designed the Samsung Diva!

BlackBerry App — Kindle Is Now Available For Free!

Oh Amazon, you have almost ruined the future generation from being able to enjoy the smell, the feel and the overall experience that books give you with your Kindle. If you are a guy or gal that loves Kindle though, you are probably going to go bananas over this – they now have Kindle for BlackBerry.

The real kicked about this app is that it is absolutely, one hundred percent free! One thing that you might want to take into consideration though is that this particular app does require you to purchase books, each book being $9.95.

Basically, you would just download that right onto your phone and then you will be able to read it! Pretty cool … but I like real books better.

All right, now that we have talked about a rugged cell phone, let’s go ahead and move onto something that is a little more luxurious. So I have to tell you guys, this is one iPhone accessory that I am obsessed with. Not only is it really cool looking but I can tell you that this particular keyboard is specifically for the iPhone and it is … different. For example, every button on it is another application.

Finally LG Unveils The GU280 Popcorn Phone In Italy!

LG is a company that I would not think that would produce some of the best phones on the market but – this is a company that is constantly surprising me. Not only have they come out with some of the brightest and best looking phones in the world, but the brand new GU280 Popcorn for Italy is awesome! This is yet another slider phone, but the specs are a different story.

Not only does the GU280 Popcorn have a 2 inch 176×220 TFT display, but the 1.3MP camera is also incredible. Personally, I happen to love the 20MB of internal memory and the fact that you can connect your Bluetooth to it. Also, this phone has a battery that can support up to 4 hours of talk time and up to 100 hours of standby mode.

This phone is also ideal for texting, because the buttons are just a little bigger and really easy to read. This is the perfect phone for the ultimate girly-girl!

Samsung, by far is the leading company for cell phones. I think that Samsung has come out with so many phones, it really does make it hard to keep track of them all, and however … their newest phone is crazy! They came come out with the world’s first 12MP camera phone that has 3x optical zoom. This is not just another Samsung phone; this is a breakthrough in technology!

The Samsung SCH-W880 12MP Camera Phone does not look like a regular phone at all. In fact, this little beauty actually looks like a camera with no phone, however – I can assure you that you will be able to make all sorts of calls on this phone! Now, onto the specs!

HTC Tattoo Google Android Smartphone — Almost!

So let’s say that this Labor Day you have been shopping for a brand new phone – you want one of the best phones on the market and you will not settle for less. You came home empty handed didn’t you? That’s because the HTC Tattoo Google Android Smartphone isn’t out yet! This is one of the smartest phones that is going to be coming out this year and it is also one of the cutest!

The HTC Tattoo Google Android Smartphone features: a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 240 x 320, HTC’s Sense UI, a 3.2MP shooter with auto-focus, a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, and a 512MB of RAM. While Europe gets to have this phone next month – soon enough it will be in the states.

While there is no word on pricing as of right at this moment, it will definitely have quite a price tag on it I’m sure.

Sirius Introduces Satellite Radio For The iPhone

So let’s say that you have been searching for a way that you can make your iPhone into something other than a cell phone. I mean, if you are going to make a cell phone into something other than a cell phone, the iPhone should be the phone that you turn to right? That is exactly why the iPhone has so many different accessories and Sirius has just added to the iPhone accessory vault.

In August, they actually came up with the iPhone XM SkyDock that will actually make your iPhone or iPod Touch into a satellite radio. To me … that is something that I do not think that I would particularly like, if only because I hate Sirius radio, however … the SkyDock does look pretty freakin’ cool.

The catch? The SkyDock itself is around $120.00 and then you have to pay another $13.00 a month in order to listen to the radio … kind of a rip right?
